| Strength: |
Marty Peters has what is commonly referred to as a "cannon." He can throw a country mile, and probably has more long-distance aces than any other player in the world. |
| MEMORABLE DISC GOLF MOMENT: |
|
That would be a 536-foot ace at V.A. Barrie park in St. Thomas, Ontario. The park is shaped like a bowl, so everyone could see it go in. We could hear the screaming all over the course.

| Marty's Disc Golf Tips |
|
How many discs are in your bag? My rule of thumb is: the newer, the fewer. That is, a brand new player should start with one disc and learn to make it do anything you want. Then learn a second, complimentary disc. And so on. Too many discs in the bag will leave you with too much the think about for shot selection. Simplify your bag until you have mastered what's there.

Comments |
Z Tracker (max weight)
|
Tracker is the all purpose driver for me. I throw this backhand, forehand on a hyzer or anhyzer. It's not a very fast disc, but it glides exceptionally well.
|
Z Predator (max weight) |
I have found the Pred to be very predictable for hyzer shots. Forehand or backhand, the disc is going to fly consistently. A good choice for windy conditions.
|
X Tracker (max weight) |
The X Tracker turns over a lot faster than the Z version. I use it for long turnover drives and rollers. I recommend this disc to newer players because it will flip up and ride straight.

Comments |
Z Buzzz (max weight) |
This disc is very predictable midrange. You can throw this disc hard on a hyzer and not worry about it flipping over on you. You can also force the disc over for 'S' shots. Can't go wrong with the Buzzz.
|
D Wasp (max weight) |
I like a D Wasp for turnover shots. This disc will break in over time, and turnover with little effort. You can throw the D Wasp on a hyzer and it will flip up straight or throw it on anhyzer and it will glide and ride.

Soft Challenger (max weight) |
The Soft Challenger feels good in my hands. I use it frequently for sidearm approach shots, also for driving and putting. The Challenger is number one in my bag.
