Memorable disc golf moments
The most enjoyable, fun, and exciting moment was being at MI state championships 2008. I only finished 6th, but found out how fun it was to be a part the disc golf community in Michigan. I was lucky enough to have Al Shack for a weekend buddy and a doubles partner for the state doubles championships. We went on to a set course record then beat that score by two second round for two records in one day. In 09 I repeated as doubles champ with (D.J. Hunt this time) and dropped to tenth in singles. Never would of missed it.
Mike's Disc Golf Tips
Try to avoid too much body action. Simply keep the disc and your body momentum moving from back to front. No side to side is needed. If you're trying to get better distance, I would take your putter and midrange to a field. Then proceed in throwing them on high releases. Try to get as much as you can out of it on all styles of shots. Then when you pick up that driver maybe you will have a better feel for it.

Disc Comments
Z Force
(174 gm)
Power driver. I throw this disc a lot, its fast so I don't have to wait for it to finish. It's sharp so it skips well and jumps high. Most importantly it's overstable so I can push it to the limit and rely on it.
ESP Surge
(174 gm)
It's a control disc at fast and slow speeds. I can't play a round without having to throw it at least once.
Z Predator
(175 gm)
Got to have that driver that will fight any wind. The edge of it prevents me from having skips. It sticks the landing great.
Pro D and Z Cyclone
(174 gm)
It's my disc for those in-between shots when you'd have to throw a mid range shot too hard or a driver to soft.

Disc Comments
ESP Buzzz
(178 gm)
I like the ESP for the grip and durability. The Buzzz is perfect for most shots because it is a safe disc. Birdie or par, those would be scores with a Buzzz one disc challenge!
ESP and X Comet
(178 gm)
The X Comet is for woods: it takes a hit without jumping 50+ feet. I like the ESP for field shots. The Comet itself is like the Magnet, no energy required. Just be smooth and let her float...
Z Wasp
(178 gm)
I like it for any windy day or predictable shots with no surprises. It's a stubborn disc so I have to let it fly its course.

Disc Comments
D Magnet
(175 gm)
Best putter at holding an effortless line. It's an extension of my hand if I simply just point in the right direction. On the days that you're just on, the Magnet is able to be thrown any way and it will still find chains.
ESP Banger-GT
(175 gm)
Great driving putter, goes in any wind. It's like having a Predator in a putter's body. I throw them for 250-300 foot shots.
