  • MEMORABLE DISC GOLF MOMENT:
The best moment was at the Team Championships in Varnamo in 2002 when we won gold with the four best players in the club. This format involves four players from each club; two playing a double and two players playing match play. This is the most memorable moment regarding the feeling of belonging to a club and each player cheering for each other with no ulterior motives.
    Thomas' Disc Golf Tips
A lot of players only throw rounds, with no time spent practicing throws and putting. They also use like 700 different kinds of discs. My advice is to start of with only three to four different kinds of discs; one to two drivers, one midrange and one putter. After you have mastered these four discs, then go on and try other discs, but you need to learn how to throw golf discs before you carry too many.

    Course Comments
    Epilä
    Tampere, FIN
This is the absolute best course in Finland and Europe. Very well taken care of and the holes are for players with 'big arms.'
    Ewing Park
    Des Moines, IA
The is the most beautiful course for the eye with regards to the surroundings and the environment with many good holes.
    Winthrop Gold
    Rock Hill, SC
Very demanding holes and is very well taken care of.
    Järva Park
    Stockholm, SWE
The absolute best course in Sweden which is of a very high standard both when it comes to the holes and how the course is managed.
    Skälby
    Kalmar, SWE
The home course will always have a place in my heart.
In The Disc Golf Bag: Drivers
    Disc Comments
    X Avenger
    (173-174)
When instructing the car company Volvo with a teammate, I was showing a few distance drives. I had gotten an Avenger X and had never thrown it before. I threw a few other distance drivers around 150 meters (approx 450 feet) when I got persuaded by the teammate to throw an Avenger and threw it about 180 meters (approx 550 feet) and the crowd was gasping, saying 'what the %?#%!'. Since that day the Avenger is my favourite 'weapon' in my bag. This is my most commonly used driver on any course.

The Avenger is very reliable and the grip is awesome. When it is not that windy you can use this disc to any throw you like since it is very dependable. I also think it has a little more reach then any other driver I have tried. This disc can be used from beginner to pro. In my bag I always have three Avenger X 173-174. One that is very worn, one that is played with just for a little while and one brand new. The worn in I used for rollers and 'extreme throws', the second one is for long straight drives and the brand new is if I accidentally lose one during a round.
    Z Avenger
    (173 gm)
When my X Avengers don't hold the line because of the wind, this is the perfect disc. It has almost the same characteristics as the X Avenger, but is a bit more overstable.
    Z Predator
    (174 gm)
The Predator is the disc that I depend on when throwing into the wind. This disc is very dependable and I also use it for big hyzers. For being as overstable as the Predator is, it actually flies very far.
In The Disc Golf Bag: Midrange
    Disc Comments
    Z Buzzz
    (178 gm)
This is my main midrange disc. It is used for almost all throws under 110 meters (approx 350 feet) unless I need a disc that turns over fast. A very reliable disc that flies exactly the way you throw it. It never gets worn out which is a very good thing since I use it that much. I have used the same Z Buzzz for about a year now without the characteristics having changed almost at all. I have two Z Buzzz in my bag.
    Z Wasp
    (177 gm)
This is the midrange I use when it is very windy. It is very similar to the Buzzz, but a bit more overstable. I do not use it that much, but when the wind kicks in it feels very good to have this one in the bag.
    X MRV
    (173 - 174)
When worn in it flies long and straight. A really good disc for both beginners and pros... it has been discontinued due to the popularity of the Buzzz.
In The Disc Golf Bag: Putt and Approach
    Disc Comments
    Soft APX
    (173 - 174)
I always carry three of these. One for understable upshots and two worn in putters. This putter has a very nice grip and always flies straight. 'In the good old days' I always had trouble that my putts were fading at the end, but after having started to use this disc I have become a stable putter. I really recommend this disc to everyone.
    D Banger-GT
    (173 - 174)
This is the disc I use for upshots under 60 meters (ap 180 feet). Extremely nice grip with the new Groove Top. Very reliable, flies straight with a slight fade at the end of the flight and is not affected that much by the wind.
