Nathan Doss Wins Second Disc Golf World Championship Title Highbridge, WI - Discraft congratulates California's Nathan Doss for earning his second Disc Golf World Title at the 2008 World Championships. Doss, who also won the PDGA National Tour Championship, becomes only the fourth elite disc golfer ever to win two World Championship Open titles.

The 'Mighty Mo' became the 'Mighty Mac" when E-Mac rolled into Kansas City, as he and Liz Lopez added two more notches to their 2008 victory counts. Michael Johansen was at home in NC for a solid 2nd place finish, with Jeremy Koling and Nick Schneider tied up for 7th.
Road Warrior Geoff Bennett Sets Disc Golf Record
Breakout pro Geoff Bennett of Michigan has set a new record for having played in the most PDGA pro tournaments in one year. Bennett competed at 50 events in 2007 - one nearly every weekend of the year - to surpass the previous pro record of 47. All those events also helped Bennett take 2nd place in the 2007 PDGA points race.
Elaine King is the United States Women's Champion Peoria, IL -Elaine King has reclaimed her 2005 title as United States Women's Champion. The Ontario native and five-time World Champion took on a deep field and cruised to a four-throw victory over Carrie Berlogar, Des Reading and Val Jenkins. Sarah DeMar and Barrett White tied for 7th place. Sheila Kirkham was 2nd in the Masters division. Congratulations!
Team Discraft Dominates MSDGC, Leiviska Wins Playoff Against Bennett
Hot on the heels of his 3rd place finish at Worlds, Cale Leiviska outlasted teammate Geoff Bennett in a three-hole sudden death playoff to win the 2007 Marshall Street Disc Golf Championship. Bennett shot the lights out in the final round for a three-shot swing to catch the leader.
Burvall Wins World Overall Disc Championship Ithaca, NY - Competitors gathered from around the globe to compete in the WFDF World Overall Championships. After a week of tough competition, Sweden's Tomas Burvall emerged as the overall Champion, 19 points ahead of the 2nd place finisher. Teammate Chris Max Voigt of Germany took 4th overall, and set a new Masters World Distance record of 205 meters(!).
